That's...Thanks Lynn - government is not our savior. That's not what I heard at the DNC. If you're curious about my support read today's post. I'm pumped for McCain/Palin. They are real change.Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10942988700815313215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32844174.post-57079628337417364052008-09-02T06:34:00.000-07:002008-09-02T06:34:00.000-07:00I really try to avoid politics as well, but it is ...I really try to avoid politics as well, but it is so hard when we are inundated with it. It's annoying that these candidates make all these promises about things that, in all honesty, is not really their duty when it comes to being in the executive branch of the federal government. When I learned about the government in school, I heard there were 3 branches, with checks and balances. I heard that congress makes the laws. I also heard that public school was under the states' governance, not the federal. I guess I am just wrong?! Ugh, there is so much attention giving to the presidents, no wonder they seem to think they are the only ones who will be running the country. To be honest, I'm not sure by your post whether you liked this wording of things by Obama or not. It is interesting, though, for sure.
-Lynn @ tmaLynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10705322275713526894noreply@blogger.com
