We got a WII for Christmas

The kid's adoring aunt (Dave's sister) got the family a Wii for Christmas. When I first caught wind of her gift idea I was reluctant - not another electronic entertainment device to distract us from more important things! Dave called me a KILLJOY! And he WAS right.

We play the Wii as a family. Tennis is a blast. Aidan's already made pro. Ian hits seven home-runs at a time. Oma got a gold medal in bowling. I womped Dave's butt in bowling. Emma loves to box. And Liam, well, he loves it when we play any sport with his avatar.

It is a blast, so much more fun than the x-box. Thank you Aunt Debby!

I'm so jealous. I hope we get one oneday when the little bear is big enough to play with it.

Barb,
We just got our Wii today, after stalking the store for days on end! Like you, I was at first skeptical, but I think it will be something active we can do as a family.
