When Did This Happen???

We don't buy a lot of ice cream. It's too tempting. So when I felt the urge to treat my family the other day I was a bit bewildered by the size of the cartons of ice cream in my super center's freezer section. What happened to half gallon cartons of ice cream? They're all 1.5 gal - 1.75 gal. But the price remains the same. Go figure!
