I'm not a demonstrative person and that fact was reinforced today as Aidan and I attended the St. Louis Tea Party (if you haven't heard it was the day around the country citizens protested the Stimulus Package, organized on a grassroots level). The SLTP took place in front of the Arch and concluded along the Mississippi with protestors dumping their tea (bags) in the river. There was cheering, booing, speeches and singing. I mostly observed - it was my first protest after all!. An elder gentleman approached Aidan and encouraged him to cherish this event. "We are exercising our first amendment right: free speech and right to peaceful assembly. Remember this day!" I added, "That's why I brought him along!"
